Its been a week since I last blogged. Nth much for the past week, Im still down with my cough n flu and Im very reluctant to go see doctor this time. I dunno the reason behind it also, maybe its just plain laziness haha!
Wednesday Went to Shangri-La hotel for briefing on my work the next day. I have nv been to the hotel before, I didnt know it is so grand *maybe Im just mountian tortoise bah lolz!*. I was appointed as usher at 1st, so I felt that ..well ushering...ok lah..just know lor. In the end, the need more girls to be at the registration counter so I have no choice but to be a reg crew. Was quite worried at first cos i din do this kind of job b4!! hahaz!
After the briefing, calista, christ n gang accompanied me n teng yi to go buy our black top. So mafan lor!!! Initially, we went to MANGO to try out the top but the material was quite thin. To me, I think is quite inappropriate to wear that for work tho. We decided to head over to Taka to check out the G2000 offer where 2 shirts for $49/59 cant remember clearly. But!! Suayness!! Dun haf BLACK!!!! Wtf sia....a simply black office top so difficult to find meh! I was so pek chek lor at that moment. We went to MANGO at Taka outlet to get the black shirt I tried out at 1st, but to my dissapointment...Taka outlet dun haf that black shirt. In the end we have to head back to lido to get the shirt instead. Everyone was very tired and hungry by the time we made payment already and its almost 930pm already. Can u imagine that? The briefing starts at 6 plus till 9 plus we havent had our dinner yet. We had MOS burger for our dinner. After that is home sweet home already, gotta sleep early cos the next day we have to reach the hotel at 7am!!
Thursday ( B4E event. Global Business Summit For the Environment)
Woke up at 5am reluctantly, prepared myself and waited for ethel, huimin and karin to come n fetch me. I din know that they are frm TP too!! hahaz!! The whole working day is like TP gathering lor...all the part time staffs are frm TP. Around 730am, ppl start coming in to register themselves. I helped calista to give out the badge n bag 1st, so I can observe n learn what to do for registration..heez. After that, had a short break n enjoyed the hotel's *breakfast* lolz..damn nice lor...(ok i know, mountain tortoise again -.-!!). Went back to the counter quickly so that calista can have her break too.
I was positioned beside the payment counter to help out the organiser. When the conference started I slacked all the way to lunch break. Had my lunch and its back to work again. Had a Detour in the evening, hahaz!! Accompanied the organiser to their to take sumthings and back to the hotel again. Not bad eh? still can go walk walk around. Back to hotel n saw the metal detector n sercurity stuff are all set up already. After all the important sercurity screening and we are back to the counter to prepare ourselves for the Gala dinner reception. It was quite chaotic cos there's a sudden change in sitting plans for the dinner. Alot of ppl gathered at the ballroom n it was so noisy that u have to concentrate on wat the guest has to say to you. The ladies were very nicely dressed especially Miss Earth, she is gawd damn pretty lor. The dinner started and we went to the secretary room for debrief and *Bang gang loh!!! . Got my pay right after the work and headed to town to met up with B2 and we went home together. Thanks B2 for waiting for me.
Friday& Saturday
MOS on 2 nites. Friday suppose to met up with meow n shir but they are late. So I went to MOS to take my chop 1st n saw alot of WG ppl there. Went over to the brigde there to drink as usual but I din drink much tho due to my cough. Went to MOS, SMOOVE was as pack as usual, met a few new frens there too. After awhile I cant tahan the squeezyness animore so I went out of the club n head over to the bridge with reeve n frens to grab some drinks. On the way I met kor kor!! So happy...I long time nv see him ler!! Went to 7-11 to grab some drinks and my kor kor called me. So I went over to his side n he offered me some red wine. So nice of kor kor, thanks. He talked to me abt the incident and ya..kor kor...i wont do it again ler..I will learn to be smarter nex time ya? After that was home sweet home, met benjamine on the bus and yeah!! got company to take bus home together.
Saturday was quite a boring day I can say, even tho Im tired but I still wan to go out and play. Contacted nick and he said he is heading down to MOS also. We took a cab down to MOS and met up with his frens. Met WG ppl there also, the same group of ppl. They are really chiongster lor...speechless. Danced awhile and head over to the bridge to get some drinks, was thinking of going momo cos jie was there too!! Persuaded nick n fren to go momo with me, so we went there with ali n 2 other gals. Waited outside momo for my jie, I went in thru guestlist. Momo was gawd damn pack since its the last night already. Danced and walk around for awhile, then accompanied jie n fren to 7-11 to grab some drinks. Slacked awhile and decided to head home. In the cab, saw cars racing on the road but quite boliao arh...risk their life jus for abit of money. Reached home and daddy was still awake sia, it was 330am by then, din get scolding tho. I faster go wash up n go slp already.
